FAQ

 General FAQs

Who are you guys?

Hiya! We are a group of dog trainers passionate to train dogs and educate our clients on how to better understand the science behind learning. Our training system clear, effective, and takes your dog’s individuality into account. We have studied, gone to seminars, taken courses, competed on the national level all to ensure we are providing the very best to you. If you would like to learn more about us, please feel free to check around this site and follow us on Facebook!

What areas do you service?

We service Parker, Centennial, Castle Rock, and surrounding area locals as well as nationwide. If you are unsure we service your area, just ask when filling out the contact form! For our out-of-state folks, please contact us via phone so we can set up a video chat time.

Do you use treats or toys during training?

Of course! Treats and toys are great motivators when a dog is learning. The more we reward our dogs for good behaviors, the more we see those good behaviors occur (Psst don’t worry, we will teach you how to reward and not bribe your dog!)

Training Camp FAQ

Is a Board and Train right for my dog?

Generally speaking, most dogs do great during a training camp. We create an enriching environment to ensure your dog is relaxed and happy during his or her stay. Just like humans, the more fun and interactive learning is, the better your dog will retain the information. Camp is, in our opinion, the best way to introduce any dog to training. Coaching lessons are the best way to introduce a human to dog training.

Where will my dog stay during a board and train?

At our home. We live on property and treat your dog as a guest.

My dog is aggressive. Can you still work with him/her during a Board and Train?

We sure can. Any breed, any size, any issues.

 Private Coaching FAQ

What is the goal of private coaching? What will I learn?

Have you heard of the old saying that goes “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”? This statement describes our coaching style perfectly. Yes, we will help you resolve your issues but more broadly, we will be teaching your how dog learning really occurs. Our goal: for you not to need us. We want you to be able to think like us. We want to elevate your knowledge of dogs.

Can I combine private coaching with training camps?

Absolutely! This is actually why all our Board and Train programs come with private coaching lessons. Board and Trains are great for your dog’s understanding and coaching lessons are great for you, the human!
